Blending Art, Nature and Healing

I hold a Master of Science in Art Therapy from Nazareth University.  I have been granted a license in the state of N.Y. as a Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) I am registered, and board certified as an art therapist by the Art Therapy Credentials Board (ATR-BC) and am a Credentialed art teacher K-12 NYS. Additionally I am a California Certified Naturalist. This means that I have trained and studied the natural resources and cultural history of a place (Alameda, CA Crab Cove Ohlone/Chochenyo Land) Finally I am a Certified Geriatric Care Professional. My hope is that by healing in nature we are able to protect and become stewards of this land.

I have worked with all ages and developmental stages of life:children, families, couples, I have specialized in medically complex children, refugeesin the midst of relocation, people experiencing ADHD, Autism, depression, anxiety, grief and loss.

I strive to provide culturally relevant art therapy, which means I make attempts to meet clients where they are. Over the past several years, I have been actively examining my own bias, history, culture, and life experience as a therapist and teacher being raised in the U.S. with a Eurocentric lens.
